The Liberty Tavern

My experience at the Liberty Tavern was nice. I had the field green salad and french fries. Let’s start with my faveeeee .. I love me some French fries and these did not disappoint! They were crunchy and seasoned to perfection! The chipotle sauce they served with them I was not a fan of but the ketchup was ! The salad was different .. I had the grains and greens and there wasn’t that many chickpeas in the salad and the labneh added a different taste, like the labneh wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either .. , could be my tastebuds haha. The star of my meal was the fries and I would go back again just for the fries alone lol. Our server was kind and attentive. She kept our drinks filled and our table was cleared fast too as we sat after eating and chatted. Also - sidenote, I ended up in the chair that Barack Obama sat in when he visited!

The servers were great. The food was amazing. The inside and outside were really clean. It’s dog friendly (on the patio), and everyone was so nice. They have a kid menu my daughter loved. We definitely recommend coming here. To summarize, everything was great. We really enjoyed our experience. We’re definitely coming back!

Really great brunch spot in Arlington, VA with all you can you eat brunch food, and drinks with a selection of different beverages! Small plates served with fast service (90 minutes only). Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a delicious brunch here and Savannah was an excellent server! She was attentive without ever hovering over us, and was kind and offered efficient service. We opted for the small plates brunch option and enjoyed the various dishes that we tried. The deviled eggs and French toast were stand out favorites. I’d strongly recommend reservations for brunch as they do get busy! : French toast, deviled eggs, caprese pasta salad, quiche, brunch punch

This review is for happy hour at Liberty Tavern. We had a wonderful time with delicious food and well made cocktails. Prices are amazing and wait staff and hostess were so lovely. Highly recommend the spiked strawberry lemonade. So good!

The Happy Hour menu is absolutely insane value. Crazy good deals and the staff is the best staff I have ever interacted with in the DC area. Not even close. This place is a baseball throw from the Clarendon metro stop and the best restaurant in town. Highly recommend the spam rice.

Eggs Benedict, Devil eggs, meatballs, Vegetarian Quiche, and Steak are a MUST HAVE. For a sweet tooth, the french toast and the Nutella dessert are the way to go. I had brunch on a sunday. Be smart about your choices. Don't let them bring the random plates to the table. I recommend choosing your options yourself. Start with the protein and the fancy items, then try to the common options like the potatoes, pizza, grill cheese, and bla bla bla. Take advantage of the full brunch price by eating things you like.
